Timeline

2006 – 2011
Grosvenor patiently acquired the full-block land assembly over a five-year period.

2011
The previous brownfield gas station site was converted into a public art park for community enjoyment and interaction.

2011-2013
Input was collected from hundreds of West Vancouver residents and local stakeholders at ideas fairs. These sessions informed a clear community vision to create a gathering space filled with public art and entertainment.

2014
Rezoning achieved, designs finalized, and presales commenced.

2015-2018
Phase one of the project was constructed.

2017-2020
Phase two of the project was constructed.

2020
Grosvenor Ambleside hosts Artisan Winter Farmers’ Market and Dundarave Festival of Lights.

2021
Final art piece installed and development completed. Grosvenor Ambleside is awarded ULI Americas Award of Excellence 2021 and hosts the second annual Artisan Winter Farmers’ Market and Dundarave Festival of Lights.
